Tom Jacoby, Qualifying Broker
|
Tom has been a Realtor since 2004, drawing on his background as a military officer, engineer and risk manager, and his extensive experience living and working in foreign cultures, to create a real estate brokerage focused on ethical, professional and honest customer relationships. Tom specializes in the sometimes complex area of country properties and water rights.
Raised in San Antonio Texas, Tom served as a US Army officer with varied overseas assignments. Tom then spent ten years working as a trainer and risk manager in Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Korea and Australia. Upon returning to the USA, Tom helped to develop a new concept called "wireless networking", as vice president of engineering and operations for a Houston-based company.
Tom enjoys working with computer and network technology as well as backpacking long distance trails. He also designs, manufactures and flies radio controlled model aircraft.

Kathleen J. Jacoby, Associate Broker

Raised in New Mexico, Kathleen has many years experience as a full-time New Mexico Realtor. Her emphasis on providing the smoothest possible closing experience for her customers by her attention to detail has been awarded by sincere “thank you’s” from customers turned friends.
As an Army wife for 20 years, Kathleen endured more than a dozen relocations (PCS, they call them!) and she knows first-hand the disrupting and stressful effects of a military move. She does her best to help families make the transition to a new community.
Kathleen uses her formal training in business, multi-cultural training, literacy, behavioral science and customer service to add to her capabilities in real estate. A property search with her usually ends up with a dialogue on the culture, history, entertainment and enjoyment of life in the Land of Enchantment that is New Mexico. Kathleen and her husband Tom are active volunteers in the community and the Association of Realtors.

When Annie began visiting the Sacramento Mountains and Otero County 15 years ago she fell in love with the mountains and moved here from Los Angeles. Her passion for the area and her well-honed people skills that developed through 32 years of employment with a major airline, traveling the world, made a career in real estate a perfect fit. As a seasoned, professional agent Annie's knowledge of real estate has proven to be invaluable to her customers. And as mountain residents, she and her business partner Elliott Miller are experts in mountain properties.

Merry McIntosh, Associate Broker

Merry was born in Hobbs, NM. Her family ranched near Monument, NM. When Merry was 8 years old her parents bought a ranch at Datil, NM where she grew up. Her Dad raised stock horses in addition to cattle. As kids, any spare time she and her brother had was spent training and breaking colts for resale. After graduating high school in Magdalena, NM she attended NMSU in Las Cruces. While she was attending NMSU her parents bought a ranch near Willcox, AZ. This is where she met and married the father of her two sons. Those sons have given her two grandsons which are her pride and joy.
Merry spent many years in accounting and banking until she discovered her first love --- Sales. She has been selling different things and for years sold manufactured homes. This lead to real estate in 2007. Joining United Country in Tularosa in May 2009 she loves selling country property. Merry was #1 in the Otero County MLS for several months in 2011 and the first Million Dollar producer of the year. Several horse properties put her over the $1,000,000 mark. United Country honored Merry last March as a member of the Pinnacle Club and Outstanding Listing Power.

Elliott Miller, Associate Broker

Elliott Miller grew up in rural Pennsylvania the youngest son of a postman and a fabulous cook. His early years were spent studying theology and being a pastor before he took a different direction in his life and went to work for a major airline. Since then he’s been flying all over the world from Beijing to Buenos Aires and loving every minute of it. Elliott has lovingly restored many older homes in California and New Mexico and his passion for architecture and design makes him a stellar Realtor.
Elliott and his partner Annie are teamed up to specialize in mountain property, especially High Rolls, Mountain Park, Cloudcroft and Mayhill in the Sacramento Mountains of southern New Mexico.
